¿Qué es lo más importante que deben esperar sus pacientes de su relación profesional con usted?
Me esforzaré por curar su enfermedad y también ofreceré expectativas realistas con respecto a los efectos secundarios del tratamiento. Sin embargo, espero que los pacientes comprendan que la curación no siempre es posible.
¿Cómo pasa su tiempo personal cuando no está cuidando pacientes?
Me gusta pasar tiempo con la gente que quiero, sin importar dónde estemos: descansando en el sofá, yendo a la playa o visitando restaurantes nuevos. No hay nada mejor que una buena conversación y reírse.
¿Por qué eligió su especialidad y cuál es su mayor recompensa?
Es maravilloso tener una relación longitudinal con los pacientes y sus familiares, ayudándoles en momentos profundamente emocionales y difíciles. La mayor recompensa en mi campo es curar el cáncer.

She carefully explained the characteristics of my medical issue and helped me understand how it was most likely contributing to other symptoms I was intermittently experiencing. She’s always positive, kind, and caring. At every visit, no matter how busy she is, I never feel rushed. She is patient and gives me the time needed to clearly explain test results and courses of action.
